2009 was a banner year for SEALTITE. The company met & exceeded all sales & profit expectations. Despite the economic challenges that companies & the country will continue to face in 2010, SEALTITE has made the decision to increase capital expenditures to achieve its future growth objectives.

This commitment to growth began in 2009 when the company expanded its Tyler, Texas corporate manufacturing facility. A building expansion was completed that brought total manufacturing & warehousing to 150,000 square feet under roof. This expansion helped to accommodate the introduction of its state of the art powder paint system. This environment friendly process utilizes no chemical solvents & provides a rugged barrier coating that is more corrosion resistant than traditional wet paint processes. SEALTITE will continue to add new equipment in 2010 to keep pace with the increasing demand for this exciting new product.

These major investments fit with the SEALTITE philosophy: “Provide superior quality products & the most consistent customer service in the industry.” To reinforce this, a commitment has been made to stock all 20 colors of powder coat to be ready for immediate shipment. Initially, these will include the 1”, 1 ½”, & 2” KWIKSEAL II WOODBINDER. As capacity increases, additional sizes & products will be included in the powder coat family.
